RULES
Rules for Mixed Veterans Hockey Club:

Membership Fees: a. All club members must pay their membership fees on time as determined by the club committee. b. Failure to pay membership fees may result in suspension from club activities until the fees are settled.

Behaviour: a. All club members are expected to display sportsmanship, respect, and courtesy towards teammates, opponents, officials, and spectators. b. Use of foul language, disrespectful behaviour, or unspor
tsmanlike conduct will not be tolerated. -
Friendship and Inclusivity: a. Encourage a friendly and inclusive environment, where all members feel welcome regardless of age, gender, skill level, or background. b. Support new members and ensure they are integrated into the club and team activities.

On-Field Conduct: a. Follow the rules and regulations of the game as set by the governing hockey association. b. Any physical aggression or intentional harm towards other players will lead to immediate disciplinary action.

Disputes: a. If conflicts arise, members are encouraged to resolve them amicably through open communication and without aggression. b. Serious disputes should be reported to the club committee for mediation.

Commitment to Safety: a. All players must wear appropriate safety gear, including helmets, shin guards, and other protective equipment. b. Players with injuries or health concerns must inform team management to ensure safe participation.

Fair Play: a. Emphasize fair play and equal opportunities for all members during team selections and game time allocation. b. Avoid stacking teams to ensure competitive and enjoyable matches.

Training and Skill Development: a. Encourage regular attendance at training sessions to improve individual skills and team dynamics. b. Support and mentor less experienced players to promote continuous improvement.

Respect for Facilities: a. Keep the club's facilities and equipment clean and in good condition. b. Dispose of trash appropriately and maintain the clubhouse and dressing rooms.

Alcohol and Substance Use: a. Consumption of alcohol or any illegal substances is strictly prohibited during matches, training sessions, and club events. b. Players under the influence will not be allowed to participate in club activities.

Club Uniform: a. All players must wear the official club uniform during matches unless specified otherwise by the team management.

Communication: a. Stay informed about club events, schedules, and announcements through official communication channels such as emails, social media, or the club website.

Financial Transparency: a. The club committee should maintain transparency in financial matters, providing members with updates on club finances and expenses.

Fundraising and Sponsorship: a. Encourage members to participate in fundraising activities to support the club's initiatives and future development. b. Seek sponsorship opportunities to reduce the financial burden on members and enhance the club's resources.

Club Governance: a. Adhere to the club's constitution and follow the decisions made by the club committee. b. Members have the right to express their opinions and suggestions constructively during club meetings.
